For the first MMCM Creative workshop we are collaborating with The Girls Room which is a start up media company, founded by Jacquelyn Cornier, that empowers women to discover their passions, share their stories, and embody their truths in the digital age. We are collaborating to provide both of our communities with a virtual intimate experience. Our sessions will include 1) Journaling & Learning Yourself 2) How to Self-Publish & Tips on Creative Writing, and 3) Pursuing your passions, monetizing your art, and discovering your style of writing, design, and production.
This is not a panel so you will be able to interact and truly learn from Mirtha Michelle and The Girls Room team. We are so excited for you all to join us for this experience!

About this Event

Karah Preiss is an experienced content producer & writer based in New York City. Along with actress Emma Roberts, she founded Belletrist, a social media-first community for book lovers which they have recently turned into a film/tv producing vehicle called Belletrist Productions. They are currently in a first-look deal for TV at Hulu. Through Belletrist, Karah and Emma are on a mission to promote reading as an accessible and unique form of self-care.
Prior to founding Belletrist, Karah was an independent producer and a science & tech reporter at The Huffington Post where she hosted the short-form series TALK NERDY TO ME. In her spare time, Karah hosts the award-winning iHeart Radio podcast Sleepwalkers, which focuses on the ways artificial intelligence is affecting humanity.
